James has been in the TV and electronics industry since 1992, starting at 18 and working across everything from satellite and home cinema to live broadcast systems and commercial MATV.
By his mid-twenties he had more hands-on experience across more sectors than most tradespeople develop in a full career.
In 2000, aged 26, he founded Sat-Tech Ltd in the UK, growing it to a four-van operation and building one of the most credentialled small installation businesses in the country. He relocated to Perth in late 2013 and founded Pro TV Perth, deliberately staying sole-operator: no sub-contractors, no call centres, just James on every job.
Today Pro TV Perth completes 850+ properties per year across four service areas. Hundreds of those jobs come from word-of-mouth recommendations alone, the clearest measure of a job consistently done right.

Contracted by the BBC to support the UK’s national analogue-to-digital TV transition in 2010. James’s primary role was visiting elderly residents, care homes and vulnerable people in his local service area, ensuring no one was left without television.
