Mounting a Samsung One Connect TV into a Wall Recess

Pro TV Perth to the rescue again, this time in Ardross.

The Problem

The customer did do the right thing and previously contracted a so-called ‘specialist’ to prepare for the One Connect box. This required them to prepare an inset in the wall recess for the One Connect box to fit into, so that it’s hidden behind the TV.

However, the specialist was clearly not aware that there are 2 different types in the current model ranges and the inset wasn’t big enough!!

The Fix

  • Use a Sanus VLT7 bracket for spacing and access to the box, very important.
  • Small right angle brackets to mount the One Connect 8K box in place.
  • Thankfully these TVs are very thin so it still fits in the recessed location.
  • And everything is hidden behind the TV.
