Wall Mounting a Massive 100″ TV in Applecross

Another masterclass in super sized TV installation!

This time it was wall mounting a huge 100” LG TV on a cantilever bracket in a new Applecross apartment. In addition to the sheer size and weight of a 100″ TV, extra care was needed to make sure it fitted evenly within the recessed wall.

All in all, an amazing TV installation for a very swish apartment. Oh and while I was there, I also mounted an LG 65” G5 in the lounge.

  • 100” LG QNED86 model.
  • TV weight at 66kgs.
  • Recessed location.
  • Sanus VXF830, takes 80kgs and a big VESA mount up to 80x60cm.
  • Sanus XXL 830 bracket weighs 32kg.
  • Bracket extends to 70cm and best suited for TVs in the 85”-100” range.

The type of wall the TV was mounted on allowed for all cables to be hidden completely from view, which added to the stylish finish. The cantilever bracket enables the TV to be tilted and angled to suit exactly where the viewers are sitting or standing. It also means you can access the rear of the TV when needed.
